Many people these days are apprehensive about using business email marketing, for a number of reasons. The most obvious one is being seen as spamming. This way, you are able to grow a list containing highly-qualified prospects for your mutual success. When you write an article to be placed into article directories, make sure you put much creative thought into it. This way your article becomes an individual piece of information, and not a replica of ones written by other people. Information based markeing is now hugely popular on the internet, and as it is generally free, competition for readers is fierce. This is one of the most effective way of informing your readers about your subject, so it needs to be uniquely yours.

There are so many tools that you can use to distribute your articles more easily and effectively, but this is only half of the story.

Let’s now take a look first at common errors you could make before sending your story to article directories. In article writing, there are three key benefits why you are promoting them; branding yourself as an expert, promotion, and lead generation which are all part of your efforts to optimise your success. There should only be one reason why you write an article, and that is to inform your readers and get their attention.

If the article isn’t focused on these essential purposes, it will fail to achieve those three benefits because no one will be interested in reading it, and the article directories may not publish it. This then creates leverage for you via the backlinks that occur. Better search engine results also are great benefits. But these things do not put much money in your pocket. There are other factors that will turn your article marketing efforts into opportunities that can boost your income and increase the number of visitors to your site.

It is so important to be aware that most article directories have a set of rules and guidelines, and unless you fit within them, your chances of having your article published are slim. It is all really a matter of choice on your part. You can start getting some  exposure from increased links back to your website, or enjoy massive exposure from a little extra effort by providing information of interest and value to your readers.

Your article will always be more effective for you when you target a specific niche, rather than trying to spread  your message to a wide audience. When you study the successful internet marketers, those who are really successful, copy those who have and are earning millions of dollars annually. And these marketers all have different methods, depending upon the areas in which their niche markets are. For example, from my studies and investigations, it seems that home business internet marketers fit into different categories. What are these?

Let us firstly look at what I term the Pure Information Providers, those who market electronic downloadable information products. These are generally either e-books or software programs. This type of marketing is very straightforward and uncomplicated for those marketers who are creative, either technologically-savvy themselves, or have access to experts who are, and are very efficient at developing online marketing strategies that work.

Their downloadable products are ordered by the customer, either via financial merchant facilitators such as ClickBank or PayPal, and delivered immediately to their computer. The marketers then receive their payment from ClickBank or PayPal into their bank account within a few days.

These marketers of downloadable information products generally have two main methods of marketing their products. They advertise their own Sales Letter/Website using pay-per-click [ppc] in Google Adwords, Yahoo, etc, as well as through the Affiliate programs they have organised where many hundreds or even thousands of Affiliates market their products on their behalf. The latter is the most common system that the millionaires use, as it expands their advertising exponentially, and not only creates massive income for themselves, but in many cases for their Affiliates as well.

Now let us look at another area which is currently responsible for countless millions of dollars in expenditure and earnings, and that is areas such as Network Marketing which includes Multi-Level Marketing [mlm], but is not limited to that system. These areas are undergoing an awesome boom and have been doing so for the last few years, as many millions of people worldwide seek either extra income or want to be able to earn a full-time income in their own business working from home.

This section of the internet marketing industry uses a huge range of advertising methods to market the opportunity programs provided by literally thousands of different companies worldwide. And their online business strategies are generally determined by their budget, what they can afford to spend.

Paid advertising, ppc, is always the most effective when done sensibly and after very careful research, but because this industry is so dramatically competitive, generally the most expensive form to use. And ppc advertising is dominated by the BIG PLAYERS, those marketers who have mega-bucks to invest, with them usually dominating, while those whose budget is small generally lose money and have little, or no success, and in at least 90% of cases go bust!

So for those online marketers  whose budget is limited, or non-existent, the option of free-marketing using Search Engine Optimisation [SEO], and Social Media, such as Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, etc, can be a very successful and lucrative way to get their message out to the public.

These include writing articles for distribution within E-zines [electronic magazines], issuing worthwhile Press Releases, creating a personal web-log [blog]  and are some of the vehicles that will help the marketer become known and build relationships that eventually lead to personal freedom and online business success. However, this system of internet marketing does take time, perhaps months, before you can achieve worthwhile results. On the plus side, many online marketers use only SEO and they enjoy massive success with their well-planned online marketing strategies.

OK. Everything I have mentioned above form part of the most vital component of internet marketing, and that IS marketing itself. Every business on the planet needs to be efficiently marketed in order for its products or services to become known and ordered/purchased. So marketing IS the number one factor that must be done successfully, otherwise your business will die a painful death.

And what is one of the most vital outcomes of a successful marketing program? You MUST build a list of potential customers/consumers/business partners, because without that list, that painful ‘business death’ is inevitable.

The Pure Information Providers mentioned above are without a doubt the most successful list-builders on the web, in my opinion. They have it down to a ‘T’, and you could do your internet marketing business and yourself a huge favor by studying the most successful of these, and copying and adapting their online marketing strategies for your own use to experience online business success.

We get up when we wake, having dispensed with the formidable buzz of the alarm. Just being able to do this little thing is a ʻgreatʼ blessing to my nervous system for starters! My husband and I get in a leisurely breakfast sitting out on our deck enjoying noise of the many birds in our garden and the warm sunny morning knowing later we can get out into the sun for a walk or go down to the beach for a swim. So begins our day of blessings.

Everyone in our street is off to work somewhere else, today. How could you not love this life? Like everyone else our day does begin with family commitments, like driving our lovely granddaughter to school. Chatting with her is an incredible privilege and blessing.

Generally, our everyday life is not too hectic at all. And this is another blessing. We belong to us all day, here at home. We donʼt have to go out to a small business requiring all of our time, blood, sweat, and tears. We have not spent huge sums of money as we would have either, had we bought a bricks and mortar style business.

Donʼt get me wrong we work very, hard and many, hours in our online marketing business. The difference is the peaceful environment that our home provides makes for an idyllic situation for building an online business. The big plus is we have a life together that is envied by many and that we never want to give up.

Its a blessing to be able to work from home, a privilege that more and more people are learning about. How to build an internet marketing business at home takes discipline and it takes education, lots of education.

Support from real entrepreneurs willing to teach everything they know on a daily basis is a major key to success these days online. It is a blessing to just Skype for help whenever needed.

The most high-profile communities of entrepreneurs online share everything they know with each other and with the likes of you and me. And because they do this we in turn do it making us all stronger and building real businesses producing profits and changing peoples lives along the way.

INSPIRATION is critical to staying motivated and improving yourself. If you are not really interested in your occupation you will not stay motivated for long enough to achieve results. So you need to take an honest look at how inspired you feel.

Are you excited about going to work or business? Or is it an obligation? It is so easy to grow weary and uninterested in what we do unless we are passionate about it. Passion sustains us through challenges and disappointments. That makes sense, does it not? Love what you do for a living now, or find a way to do what you love.

SETTING GOALS. Short and long-term goal setting is vital for any employee or business owners. You will not GET GOALS if you do not SET GOALS. They give you a definite track to run, and stay on, and are a vital component of your personal motivation. How could you possibly be motivated if unsure about the direction you are taking in your career? So take the time to put your goals in writing. This becomes a business plan for your life, your future. Review it daily, read your goals plan out loud, and make changes when necessary so that it is always up to date.

You need short, medium and long-term goals, and always be aware that most of us over-estimate what we can achieve in the short-term, and underestimate what we can achieve in the long term. So, be reasonable and sensible in these areas of your personal motivation. But can a written goal setting plan really help motivate you? Of course. Written goals will make you feel more certain of positive outcomes and create the mindset you need to be a real winner.
STUDYING. Now do not let that word scare you or put you off. Studying personal motivation can be one of the most exciting and rewarding habits you can develop. There are now so many accomplished personal motivation entrepreneurs who are offering their expert services to you, especially on the internet.

And often much of this training costs you absolutely nothing! You just need to find a couple of mentors that you can relate to. You will most likely then happily invest in programs that will very quickly have a dramatic effect on your personal motivation.

NETWORKING. Whether you choose to be employed by a boss, or currently have your own business or profession, networking with other groups of people adds such important elements to your personal motivation and success in life. What does the word networking mean? It means being associated with your network. They may comprise social groups, sporting clubs and associations, and of course, business groups.

Networking enables us to really expand our horizons in any area we choose. It enables us to meet and associate with a large range of experts and in so doing, our personal motivation benefits us enormously. Many successful entrepreneurs report that finding the right networking group was a turning point in the growth of their business. Make it easier on yourself by connecting with others either in your community or online. Even when businesses are not related, you will often find common ground and ways to
work together.

Working together, a networking business group can help its members generate more qualified sales leads and solve problems faster and more efficiently. In fact, the isolation of working alone is of one the most difficult parts of being an entrepreneur. You can never be on your way to personal motivation without the help of others. Mutual support is motivating.

With your networking team to rely on, you can accomplish more in less time and probably have more fun in the process. You will feel motivated to accomplish self improvement when you know you are not alone.

John Wass recently attended a Think And Grow Rich Cash Flow Conference in Perth, Western Australia, hosted by the book’s Australian Publisher Stuart Zadel.

“John reports that this was one of the most interesting, inspiring and informative seminars he’s ever attended.

He says that Stuart is a very impressive young man, with ideals that everyone should aspire to. Among other things, Stuart has embarked on a program to sell one million Think And Grow Rich books, raise $1,000,000 for charity and intends to oversee the planting of one million trees in Australia within the near future.

He is well on his way to achieving each of these goals. Stuart also wants to inspire one thousand new ‘prosperity’ millionaires with philanthropic ideals similar to his own.

John shared with this reporter that Stuart is very successful in the field of personal development and public speaking; he is a successful entrepreneur in the property and other business fields, as well as being an accomplished author.

The Cash Flow Conference featured a wide variety of presenters, covering areas such as property investment and development, internet marketing, online share trading, eBay marketing and personal development. Many excellent wealth-creation opportunities were offered and taken-up by large numbers of attendees.

John believes these seminars will be standing-room only, just as the Cash Flow Conferences were, and each of them will also include more cash and TV prizes being given away. He will be attending the one in Perth, and has encouraged everyone in his contact base to make sure they don’t miss out.”

I remember when we started our online marketing business. It was our dream to be able to work from the comfort of home, and have the time to be together.

We became so immersed in getting through the ‘overwhelm’ and work, that days came and went without notice. Our previous life seemed to fade into the background. After a few months or so we couldn’t believe we had robbed ourselves of so much interaction with friends and family.

We have discovered that this is a common occurance for most home business people like us. There are too many of us online entrepreneurs driven by the desire to succeed in our chosen online marketing businesses, that we forget to stop and smell the roses along the way. I guess many believe we are not justified in taking time away from the busness at hand, untl we have the success we want.

When tucked snuggly in the office it is too easy to forget about the rest of the world. The thinking, that when I just master this or that, finish one more this and that, then I’ll join the family, then I’ll take that walk. It is insane ………. for people who have chosen to work at home online, not to enjoy the greatest benefit which is ‘Time’. Time for the pleasures of life.

Why do we do this? We miss the point of why we decided to build an  online marketeing business in the first place. We dreamed of self employment and being able to work at home, and the lifestyle that we’re pursuing. Good business management requires looking after number one …… You!

There are five vital reasons you should take a break every few hours:

1.   You need physical down time. Trying to be super-human sitting on your backside all day is a sure way to burn out. Get out of the office ….. take the kids and the dog for a walk

2.  You need mental down-time. Get out and play, your mind will thank you. Your days are filled with busy, sometimes even hectic, day to day activities related to your business. Getting away from that for a while will ensure peace of mind.

3.  Spend real time with loved ones. You’re at home now, and your family and friends see you working, working, working, they’d appreciate some quality time together

4.  Go see the world. Or just your own back yard!

5.  Do something you enjoy. Make your office “off limits” by closing the door and placing a sign on it. Do whatever it takes to keep your mind off working. Think of what you can do within your budget that’s fun. Read a great book or do nothing at all!

You have an incredible life. It is surprising how many business owners don’t feel they deserve time off. There is always too much to do and not enough hours in the day to get it all done. Guess what … it’s always going to feel that way! Only you have the power to allow yourself time off.

Even if you take a day here and day there away from your online marketing business, instead of a whole week or longer each year, that’s a whole lot better than never taking time off. You’ll feel better about yourself and your work  if you take regular time for yourself. You’ll be healthier, too!
